Dr. Naser is
a civil engineer with hands-on research and engineering
experience in the design and analysis of urban water
infrastructures. Dr. Naser has a notable reputation in the area
of Water Resources Engineering with key focus on Sustainable and
Resilient Urban Water Infrastructures. He has accomplished his research goals by
creating novel modeling tools while coupling soft–computing techniques (artificial
neural network and particle swam optimization techniques and
very recently genetic expression programming, chaos theory,
and machine learning techniques) with advanced computational
fluid dynamics (finite difference and finite element methods)
to address problems in water resources engineering area.
Dr. Naser has received several awards for teaching and scholarly
activities. He has served the relevant communities as the a
reviewer for several publishers (journals and conference
proceedings) as well as grant proposals agencies. Dr. Naser is a
professional civil engineer registered in the province of
British Columbia, Canada.
