Background

 

Dr. Naser is a civil engineer with hands-on research and engineering experience in the design and analysis of urban water infrastructures. Dr. Naser has a notable reputation in the area of Water Resources Engineering with key focus on Sustainable and Resilient Urban Water Infrastructures. He has accomplished his research goals by creating novel modeling tools while coupling softcomputing techniques (artificial neural network and particle swam optimization techniques and very recently genetic expression programming, chaos theory, and machine learning techniques) with advanced computational fluid dynamics (finite difference and finite element methods) to address problems in water resources engineering area. Dr. Naser has received several awards for teaching and scholarly activities. He has served the relevant communities as the a reviewer for several publishers (journals and conference proceedings) as well as grant proposals agencies. Dr. Naser is a professional civil engineer registered in the province of British Columbia, Canada.
